Long time employee with the New York Mets, Jim Plummer, has passed away at age 56. Plummer recently had a liver and kidney transplant, but died of a heat attack at New York Medical Center.
Plummer was with the Mets organization since 1965, in which he was a minor-league bat boy. In 1976 he moved up to the major league team, and was most recently the director of corporate sales.
He leaves behind a wife (Tee) and a son (Jonathan) and will be missed by them and everyone in the Mets organization.
Rest In Peace Jim Plummer
