C.C.'s take on Curt Schilling

There are rumors that Curt Schilling may be done with not only the season, but his career. I would expect this anyway as next year he will be 42 and would most likely retire. If this is the end for Curt, one thing is for sure, it was a great career. The 6-time All Star and 3-time World Champion had over 200 career Wins and over 3,000 career Strikeouts, one of only 4 pitchers to reach 3000 K's before reaching 1000 Walks. His final game would be in Game 2 of the 07 World Series in Boston, a game where he recieved the Win as well as a standing ovation upon leaving in what may be the last time he would ever enter the Red Sox dugout from the mound. He also will have both started and finished his career in Boston (before making his debut with the O's, he was in the Red Sox farm system and was traded to Baltimore from there). Like his legendary bloody sock from 2004, he will surely be a Hall of Famer, one of the best to ever play the game of baseball.

Breaking News: Curt Schilling's Career Could Be Over

Sox P Curt Schilling has announced he will have surgery on his ailing shoulder, which will end his season. Schilling also added his career may be over because of it. More on this later.
