If Donaghy is Truthful, Then Chaos Will Ensue

As mentioned before, Former NBA Ref Tim Donaghy is claiming that his fellow referees assisted in fixing playoff games in 2002 and 2005. The 2002 game is said to be Game 6 of the Lakers vs. Kings Western Conference Finals Series, a game in which the Lakers won with 27 Free Throws in the 4th Quater. The 2005 Game is unknown at this point, but it is possible that it occurred in Game 6 of the Finals, a game in which the Pistons won to force a Game 7. The allegations state that the games were fixed in order to force those Game 7's.

If there is enough evidence to prove these claims true, one can only imagine the response to this. One sports announcer even compared it to the Black Sox Scandal of 1919. Stay Tuned.

Breaking News: Tim Donaghy Claims Refs Fixed Playoff Series

Former NBA Referee Tim Donaghy claims that refs from around the league fixed at least one playoff series. More details will come about later, as it is not yet known what series and when. Donaghy is currently under investigation by the league for fixing games.

Shockey Likely to Hold Out

Giants TE Jeremy Shockey is likely to hold out of camp for the New York Giants, which begins this week. Shockey is claiming to be extremely unhappy with his situation on the Giants roster as well as his relationship with the fans, a majority of whom prefer the Giants unsung hero TE Kevin Boss. Boss caught a humungous 45 yard catch in the Super Bowl against the Patriots.

After breaking his leg during a game last season, Shockey missed the rest of the season. However, he was medically cleared to travel to the Giants to the Super Bowl in Arizona, which he opted not too. He also did not participate in the victory parades or the Presidential visit. Shockey had hoped he could be traded to the New Orleans Saints by draft day, but obviously that did not occur. It is unknown at this point what will satisfy Shockey's demands.

White Sox Hot After Ozzie's Tantrum

Ozzie Guillen, the Manager of the White Sox, recieved much publicity for shooting his mouth off last week about how the White Sox couldnt hit and if things didnt change soon, things would get ugly. Well since that day, the White Sox are 7-0, having swept two teams in a row and have scored an average of 8.7 runs a game in that period. They really better get Ozzie mad more if this is how they're going to play every time he loses it.
