Indians Will Listen to Trade Offers for Sabathia, Sox in the Running?

The Cleveland Indians, already a team moving downhill, appearantly are coping with reality and will consider moving P C.C. Sabathia before the July 31 trade deadline. Or at least, they're going to listen to offers. Sabathia, who is a free agent in this upcoming offseason, is likely to ask for a 7 year/$140 Million deal. He hasn't been optimistic about a return to Cleveland, and would like to take his talent elsewhere. The Indians would reportedly be asking for 3 top prospects, and there is a team that seems interested. The Boston Red Sox. With so many young pitchers to offer, the Red Sox seem like the clear favorites to land Sabathia in a trade, but yet it still seems unlikely that a trade requiring such a large extension would occur mid-season. Only time will tell.
