Breaking News: Cubs Get Harden


The Cubs have acquired A's ace Rich Harden in a six-player deal. The Cubs will receive the right-handed Harden and righty Chad Gaudin for pitcher Sean Gallagher, outfielders Matt Murton and Eric Patterson, and minor leaguer John Donaldson. More to come later.

Agree with redsoxkid, Harden has to stay healthy to be a big impact. The NL Central has gotten a lot tougher now with CC and Harden on the Brewers and Cubs respectively.

Oh yah doc and can this year get any stranger in MLB? Coming into this year every thought the NL West was gonna be the toughest and the Central the easiest, but its been the complete opposite.

I gotta agree. The Dodgers, Padres and Giants have been real disappointments this year but so have my Blue Jays so I shouldn't be talking lol.

Yeah the Jays haven't hit but their pitching has been great.
