One of the top Defensive players in free agency, Brain Campbell, has signed with the Chicago Blackhawks for eight years. the deal is worth about $7.14 million dollars annually. this comes shortly after the Blackhawks signed Cristobal Huet for a four year deal worth about $5.62 million dollars annually.
This free-agency period, the Blackhawks were looking to upgrade their defense, which was slumping last season. They finished just three points shy of the postseason last year and are now looking forward to making a run at winning it all this season, now that they have the resources available to them.
