All-Star Game Could Be Rained Out

Well I know we are stil 9 days or so away from the game on July 15th, but early forecasts show 60% chance of Scattered Thunderstorms for the All-Star Game. This is not good news for Major League Baseball, as it would be unlikely the Game could be made up.

Has the all-star game ever been rained out before? And if so, when was that?

There has never been an all-star game rained out. One was cancelled because of war in 1945, but not because of rain.

Thanks Jon. Damn if this one gets rained out that would be really bad. This was the first all-star game I've been looking forward to in a while.

So if the All-Star Game gets rained out, what will then decide Home Field Advantage in the World Series?

Ahh simple solution: Build a dome. Oh well maybe it won't be that simple.

we could always move it up to Toronto, we have a dome up here lol.

Dome's suck, they will be obsolete in 5 years. Retractable Roofs will be big, like the rogers centre, but still, domes suck lol

woops thats what i meant, retractable roof, Toronto has that seeing as the Rogers Centre(Skydome still sounds better) is in Toronto and would like to add its the world's 1st retractable roof stadium

hang on Jon I remember after the 2002 MLB All-Star game, they said it was the second ever tie in an All-Star Game; the other tie was because of rain (or at least inclement weather).
